Is Healing a Mindset?
The word “heal” comes from the Old English, haelan, also the root of whole, hale, hearty, and holy. Healing is the process of becoming more whole; deep healing is becoming more whole at every level of system.
Self-Healing Doesn’t Cost You Anything
There are many people in our current world who are quite suspicious of the word healing. The notion of using something other than drugs or surgery to get rid of the pain and dysfunction caused by our illness or disease seems unnatural to them. Plus, how can you possibly “monetize” Self-Healing that doesn’t require any purchases, surgery, or intravenous lines? In our current culture, it is believed that, “if it doesn’t make money, of what use is it?
Sometimes healing may be superficial.
Getting rid of the headache’s pain for instance, or relieving the tension in the muscles that is causing the pain is another good example. In such cases, of course, you’re only treating the symptoms. Even though, the blessed relief when a severe pain goes away is welcome to a sufferer, there is a still deeper kind of healing.
This, what I refer to as “Deep Healing”, aims to bring balance and transformation at the essence or deeper source– as you deal with the deeper problem, the tension that has been creating your headache or other illness, dissolves.
Physical Healing Comes From Spiritual Healing
Often, the healing we need, takes place at the physical level; sometimes it is the mind and the emotions which need to become more whole, calm, and balanced.
In many cases it is we, ourselves, which need to become wiser, more focused, and clear.
Sometimes it is the will that needs to be awakened, nurtured, and allowed to express itself through healing and living wisely.
Ultimately, the spirit is the source of the healing. It is the spirit that heals.
The procedure for initiating this deeper form of healing is not very complicated. However, it requires that you learn a few important truths about your mind, your brain, and your thinking, and that you use them in your life.
If you want to use a computer most effectively, you have to learn how to use it. In order to use your Biocomputer most effectively there are things you need to use and learn about the mind–body complex.
It involves using a holistic approach, going beyond conflict, stress, and tension to discover the infinite resources of peace, relaxation, and love in the present moment.
The Future is a Place You Are Creating
However you reach this state of deep relaxation – whether through meditation, prayer, self hypnosis, etc. – it can guide you into the healing state of the mind.
In this state, through your imagination, guided imagery, and mental image rehearsal you restore balance, rewire your brain, and create your own future.
Remember, the future is not somewhere you going, the future is a place you are creating. As a human being you have been given a mind capable of enabling you to create the future you truly want.
