In May 2016, my husband was diagnosed with Latent autoimmune diabetes of adults or “LADA”. It was pretty shocking, as he didn’t fit the typical stereotype for Diabetes. Luckily, he was proactive and sought medical treatment when he wasn’t feeling well.
